Ducati India launches XDiavel V4 Sport Cruiser at Rs 30.88 lakh

Ducati India has launched the all-new XDiavel V4 sport cruiser at a starting price of Rs 30.88 lakh. Powered by the 1,158 cc V4 Granturismo engine, the new XDiavel delivers 168 hp, advanced electronics, and striking cruiser design.

Ducati India has launched the new XDiavel V4 sport cruiser motorcycle in the Indian market, priced at Rs 30.88 lakh for the Burning Red variant and Rs 31.19 lakh for the Black Lava variant (ex-showroom, India).

At the heart of the XDiavel V4 is the 1,158 cc V4 Granturismo engine, producing 168 hp at 10,750 rpm and 126 Nm of peak torque at 7,500 rpm. Derived from Ducati’s Desmosedici Stradale platform seen on the Panigale V4 and Streetfighter V4, the engine features a MotoGP-inspired counter-rotating crankshaft to reduce gyroscopic effect and enhance agility. Cylinder deactivation technology switches off the rear cylinder bank during low-speed riding and while idling, improving efficiency and thermal comfort. Major service intervals are scheduled at an impressive 60,000 km.

The motorcycle tips the scales at 229 kg (kerb), making it 6 kg lighter than the outgoing XDiavel 1260 S. Ducati claims a 0–100 km/h sprint in under three seconds. Braking duties are handled by twin 330 mm discs with Brembo Stylema calipers, delivering a peak deceleration of 11.5 m/s².

Commenting on the launch, Bipul Chandra, Managing Director, Ducati India, said, “The XDiavel V4 perfectly embodies Ducati’s unwavering commitment to pushing the boundaries of design, performance, and innovation. With the new V4 Granturismo engine, it delivers thrilling performance, strong low-end torque, and surprising agility, while retaining the comfort and commanding presence of a cruiser. The single-sided swingarm and rear alloy wheel design are among my favourite highlights of the XDiavel V4.”

The XDiavel V4 comes equipped with a comprehensive electronics suite powered by a 6-axis Inertial Measurement Unit, including ABS Cornering, Ducati Traction Control, Ducati Wheelie Control, Ducati Power Launch, and Ducati Quick Shift (up/down). Riders can choose from three Power Modes and four Riding Modes—Sport, Touring, Urban, and Wet.

Comfort and ergonomics have also been enhanced. The seat height is set at 770 mm, while rear suspension travel has been increased by 25 mm over the previous model. The passenger seat is now 30% wider, 50% longer, and features an additional 25 mm of padding.

The motorcycle features a 6.9-inch TFT colour display with an 8:3 aspect ratio and Bluetooth connectivity for smartphone pairing. Turn-by-turn navigation is available as an optional feature via the Ducati Link App.

Design highlights include a single-sided aluminium swingarm, a massive 240/45-section rear tyre, full-LED lighting with Ducati’s signature double C-shaped DRLs, and dynamic turn indicators. The fuel tank is offered in two metallic colour options—Burning Red and Black Lava.

Ducati’s Performance catalogue offers a wide range of accessories, including 48-litre semi-rigid panniers, a passenger backrest with integrated light, Sport and Touring windscreens, comfort and lowered seats, a homologated exhaust silencer, single-seat tail fairing, carbon fibre components, forged wheels, and coloured brake calipers.

With the XDiavel V4, Ducati aims to redefine the sport cruiser segment in India by blending muscular cruiser styling with superbike-derived performance and cutting-edge technology.
