Apollo Tyres launches new Truck-Bus Bias Tyre Range

Apollo Tyres has launched a new truck-bus bias tyre range designed to deliver enhanced durability, higher mileage, and improved on-road reliability, helping fleet owners reduce total cost of operations and maximise vehicle uptime.

Apollo Tyres has introduced its new truck-bus bias (TBB) tyre range, reaffirming the company’s commitment to delivering high performance while helping customers reduce their total cost of operations (TCO). Engineered using advanced technologies and validated through extensive testing, the new range is designed to address the evolving requirements of modern and expanding vehicle segments.

Developed through close collaboration between Apollo Tyres’ Global R&D and manufacturing teams, the range incorporates key technological enhancements that improve durability, mileage, and on-road reliability. These advancements are aimed at maximising vehicle uptime and enhancing overall operational efficiency for fleet owners and transporters.

To strengthen its portfolio, Apollo Tyres has added three new offerings to its basket in the 10.00-20 size, which is a popular fitment for a wide spectrum of truck and bus applications:

  • XT 1x – a drive pattern tyre, which is engineered for extra profit for fleet owners, has a sturdy and durable lug design for cut and chip resistance, optimised tread mass distribution for better tyre life, and durable carcass structure and cavity profile for better casing durability.
  • XT 2x – a drive pattern, which is engineered for extra strength, has extra deep tread with high mileage tread compound for better life, optimised shoulder lugs for better durability, and reinforced casing for enhanced load carrying capacity.
  • XR 1x – a steer pattern tyre, which is engineered for extra life, has high tread depth with modular matrix tread for reduced rate of wear and longer tyre life, stress relieving deeper shoulder window for faster heat dissipation, and 100% tie bar protected ribs for better durability.

Rajesh Dahiya, Vice President, Commercial (India, SAARC and Southeast Asia), Apollo Tyres Ltd said, “This new TBB tyre range is a strong step forward in our journey to deliver superior performance and value. By combining advanced design, robust construction and application-focused patterns, we aim to help our customers achieve lower operating costs while meeting the demands of newer and growing vehicle segments.”

The XT series drive patterns are engineered for enhanced traction and durability across varied operating conditions, while the XR steer pattern is optimised for stability, handling and even wear – together offering a balanced, performance-driven solution for fleet operations.

With this launch, Apollo Tyres continues to strengthen its commitment to innovation, customer-centricity and delivering products that supports efficient, profitable and reliable mobility.
