
Maruti Suzuki India Limited has launched the Smart Maintenance Plan (SMP), a flexible pre-paid after-sales maintenance programme aimed at delivering a hassle-free and cost-effective vehicle ownership experience for its customers.
The Smart Maintenance Plan is available to all Maruti Suzuki customers, including both private and commercial vehicle owners. Customers can opt for the plan either at the time of purchasing a new vehicle or later through any authorised Maruti Suzuki service workshop during a scheduled maintenance visit.
Designed to cater to diverse customer requirements, SMP offers multiple service package options, including Labour-only plans, Parts and Labour packages, Commercial Vehicle Minor Services, Customer Demanded Services, as well as coverage for Engine Oil and Coolants.
To further enhance customer convenience, the programme also includes optional wear-and-tear protection for select components such as clutch and brake parts, helping owners manage routine maintenance costs more effectively.
According to the company, customers subscribing to the Smart Maintenance Plan can benefit from a minimum 10% saving on labour charges, along with additional savings on parts and consumables covered under the selected package. The plan also safeguards customers against future increases in service costs for the covered maintenance activities, offering greater predictability and peace of mind throughout the ownership cycle.
With the introduction of SMP, Maruti Suzuki aims to strengthen its customer-centric after-sales ecosystem by providing flexible maintenance solutions that enhance convenience, reduce operating costs, and improve the overall ownership experience.
Different plans are available under SMP with multiple tenure and mileage options, such as 2 years/20,000 km, 5 years/50,000 km, and up to 10 years/100,000 km for private vehicles, and up to 10 years/160,000 km for commercial vehicles.
With pan‑India applicability, customers can avail services at any Maruti Suzuki authorised dealer workshop, irrespective of the location from where SMP was purchased.
