Uno Minda Limited has announced a key leadership change, appointing Rakesh Kher as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of its LAS Domain as part of a senior management reshuffle approved by the company’s Board of Directors on July 3, 2026.
Effective immediately, Kher transitions from his previous role as Chief Strategy Officer and Advisor to the Aftermarket Domain to take full-time charge of the LAS Domain. In addition to his new responsibilities, he will continue to serve as Advisor to the Aftermarket Domain, ensuring continuity in the company’s strategic initiatives.
Kher has been associated with Uno Minda since 2004, playing a pivotal role in expanding the company’s product portfolio, strengthening localised product engineering capabilities, and enhancing its distribution network.
Before joining Uno Minda, he held senior leadership positions at Larsen & Toubro, Cookson India Limited, and Advani Oerlikon Limited, bringing with him extensive experience in engineering, manufacturing, and business management.
The appointment underscores Uno Minda’s focus on strengthening leadership across its business verticals as it continues to expand its presence in the automotive components industry.
