Remsons Industries Limited, a leading manufacturer of automotive cables and gear shifter systems, has appointed Rahul Prabhakar Desai as its Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective August 3, 2026. The appointment marks a key leadership transition as the company strengthens its management team to support its next phase of growth.
Amit Srivastava to Step Down in September
Desai succeeds Amit Srivastava, who will step down as CEO at the close of business on September 4, 2026. The appointment was approved by the company’s Board of Directors following the recommendation of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee.
Brings Over Three Decades of Automotive Leadership Experience
Rahul Desai joins Remsons Industries with more than 30 years of experience in the automotive manufacturing sector, including over 17 years in chief executive and senior leadership roles.
Prior to joining Remsons, he served as Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer at Pinnacle Industries Limited, where he oversaw operations across five manufacturing facilities. Earlier in his career, Desai spent nearly a decade as Chief Executive Officer at CIE India, managing operations across ten manufacturing plants.
His leadership experience also includes senior roles at GKN Sinter Metals Limited and Inteva Products India, where he played a key role in driving operational excellence, business growth and manufacturing transformation.
With Desai at the helm, Remsons Industries is expected to leverage his extensive expertise in automotive manufacturing, operational strategy and business leadership as it continues to expand its product portfolio and strengthen its presence in domestic and international markets.
