Hyundai Motor Company has extended its strategic partnership with Shell Lubricants through 2031, with the renewed agreement focused on advancing future mobility solutions and strengthening collaboration between the two companies.

The companies have signed a new five-year Global Business Cooperation Agreement, extending a partnership that dates back more than two decades to 2005. Under the renewed agreement, Hyundai Motor and Shell will explore new joint initiatives in future mobility, including expanded research and development (R&D), service marketing and motorsports activities.

The two companies aim to further enhance aftersales service competitiveness and customer satisfaction through their continued cooperation.

Commenting on the agreement, Beom Seok Kang, Senior Vice President and Head of Global Service Sub-Division at Hyundai Motor Company, said the extended partnership will help both companies respond more effectively to changes in the future mobility landscape while creating greater value for customers.

The renewed agreement is expected to strengthen Hyundai Motor and Shell’s long-term global collaboration while supporting their efforts to develop solutions aligned with the evolving automotive and mobility industry.

By combining their expertise, Hyundai Motor and Shell aim to develop solutions that improve vehicle performance, efficiency and sustainability for customers worldwide.

How Does the Partnership Advance Motorsports and High-Performance Innovation?
