Maruti Suzuki India Limited (MSIL) on Thursday, 9th December said that the cumulative sales of its Baleno premium hatchback has crossed ten lakh units in six years since its launch in October 2015.
According to the carmaker, the model completed 1 lakh sales in the first year of its launch in October 2016, followed by 5 lakh in November 2018. It is retailed through the 399 NEXA outlets across 248 cities in the country.

The model is powered by 1.2litre Dual Jet, Dual VVT engine and offers Smart Hybrid technology. Some of the safety features include Dual Airbags, ABS with EBD and brake assist, Pretensioner and Force limiter seat belts with reminder, ISOFIX child restraint system, High-Speed Alert system, Reverse Parking Assist sensors, as standard across all variants.
