Skoda India on September 13 announced a new initiative, Skoda Compact Workshops, which aims to enhance customer service experience. Through this, the brand will open 30 new compact workshops across the country by the end of this year.
According to a press release, the concept of compact workshops is aimed at expanding the service touch-points in line with Skoda’s customer-centric strategy. Going forward, all sales branches in non-metro locations will have a compact workshop, which will have a minimum service facility of two bays.
To ensure a satisfying customer experience and standardise quality, all compact workshops will be connected to main dealership facilities. Skoda will also start operations in some new markets with this concept. The workshops will be capable of catering to periodic maintenance services and general repairs, added the release.
Mr. Zac Hollis, Brand Director, Skoda India, said, “Our objective is to cater to the growing customer base and ensure that customers have a seamless experience with the Skoda brand.”
