Mercedes-Benz India has strengthened its after-sales network in Uttar Pradesh with the inauguration of a new 2S (Sales and Service) facility, Prime Star, in Varanasi. The expansion increases the luxury automaker’s footprint in the state to 10 customer touchpoints, spanning key cities including Noida, Ghaziabad, Agra, Kanpur, Lucknow, and Varanasi.

Strategically located near Varanasi Airport, the new facility spans approximately 25,000 square feet and has been designed to deliver comprehensive service and maintenance support for Mercedes-Benz customers in Eastern Uttar Pradesh.

The state-of-the-art service center features 10 operational service bays, a dedicated spare parts warehouse, and advanced infrastructure to handle preventive maintenance, routine servicing, mechanical repairs, and bodywork. To support the growing adoption of electric vehicles, the facility is also equipped with a 180 kW DC fast charger and two dedicated EV charging bays, ensuring efficient charging solutions for Mercedes-Benz battery-electric vehicles.

The Varanasi facility is staffed by a team of 20 trained service professionals and integrates vehicle delivery and after-sales services under one roof, offering customers a seamless ownership experience.

Commenting on the expansion, Santosh Iyer, Managing Director and CEO of Mercedes-Benz India, said that Varanasi and the Eastern Uttar Pradesh region represent an important growth market for the brand. He noted that bringing world-class luxury service standards closer to customers will enhance convenience while supporting the company’s long-term growth strategy in the region.

Coinciding with the inauguration, Mercedes-Benz also showcased the recently launched Mercedes-AMG E 53 Hybrid 4MATIC+ in Varanasi, highlighting the brand’s expanding portfolio of performance and electrified luxury vehicles.

The new facility forms part of Mercedes-Benz India’s nationwide network expansion strategy, under which the company plans to establish more than 20 new customer outlets during 2026, further strengthening its sales and after-sales presence across the country.
