
BYD India has revealed pricing for the 2025 model year SEAL electric sedan, starting at ₹41 lakh (ex-showroom), following strong interest since its debut in March 2024.
The sedan is offered in three variants:
- Dynamic (RWD) with a 61.44 kWh battery – ₹41,00,000
- Premium (RWD) with an 82.56 kWh battery – ₹45,70,000
- Performance (AWD) with an 82.56 kWh battery – ₹53,15,000
The 2025 SEAL comes with significant upgrades, including a new Lithium Iron Phosphate low-voltage battery that is six times lighter than conventional alternatives and offers a 15-year lifespan. The top-spec Performance variant accelerates from 0–100 km/h in just 3.8 seconds.
Rajeev Chauhan, Head of Electric Passenger Vehicles at BYD India, said the 2025 updates focus on “ride comfort, cabin experience, and smart convenience,” reflecting customer feedback.
The 2025 BYD SEAL receives key upgrades, including the Disus-C intelligent damping system in the Performance trim and Frequency Selective Dampers in the Premium variant. All models now feature improved interiors with wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, upgraded air purification, and a power sunshade.
The SEAL has earned several awards, including EV Sedan of the Year and Premium EV of the Year, and was a top-three finalist for World Car of the Year at the 2024 Geneva Motor Show.
