VinFast Auto India has launched the all-new VF MPV 7 for Indian customers, expanding its electric vehicle portfolio in the country. The premium electric seven-seater MPV is designed to meet the growing demand for spacious, versatile and family-focused mobility solutions in India.
Engineered with practicality and comfort in mind, the VF MPV 7 offers ample cabin space and flexible seating, making it well-suited for Indian road and usage conditions. The introduction of the new model marks VinFast’s third product launch within a year, highlighting the company’s aggressive strategy to strengthen its presence in India’s rapidly expanding electric vehicle market.
Designed around the insight that space remains the primary consideration for multi-generational Indian families, with a theatre-style seating layout and a truly spacious third row, the VF MPV 7 seats seven in comfort. It has a wheelbase of 2,840 mm and offers up to 1,240 litres of storage, accommodating luggage, daily essentials, and the lifestyle demands of family life with equal ease.
A 60.13 kWh lithium-ion battery delivers a range of 517 kilometres on a full charge (ARAI certified), while fast charging replenishes the battery from 10 to 70 per cent in 30 minutes. Delivering 150 kW and 280 Nm of torque via front-wheel drive, it accelerates from 0-100 km/h in under 10 seconds. The exterior design features all-LED lighting, completing a vehicle that is genuinely premium inside and out.
In addition, the VF MPV 7 comes with a comprehensive ownership package, including 3-year free maintenance, a 10-year battery warranty, a 7-year vehicle warranty, a 5-year suspension warranty, a 7-year paint warranty, and 7 years of roadside assistance, delivering a best-in-segment assurance package for customers.

The all-new VF MPV 7 from VinFast features a bold and upright front fascia highlighted by the brand’s signature V-shaped lighting design. With dimensions of 4,740 mm length, 1,872 mm width, and 1,734 mm height, the electric MPV offers a spacious footprint within the seven-seater segment. The best-in-segment 2,840 mm wheelbase further enhances cabin comfort, while the integrated gear stalk on the steering column adds a modern and sophisticated touch to the driving experience.
The exterior styling adopts a clean and contemporary design language with subtle body contours that give the VF MPV 7 a premium and distinctive silhouette. Key highlights include V-shaped LED lighting, dual-function DRLs with LED turn indicators, 19-inch black alloy wheels, sporty cladding, chrome window beltline, and a large window area for enhanced visibility. Additional design elements such as the integrated rear spoiler, shark-fin antenna, and rear washer, wiper and defogger further enhance practicality and styling appeal.
Inside, the VF MPV 7 offers minimalist yet premium interiors, available in sporty all-black or dual-tone black and brown themes. The cabin features leatherette upholstery, a tilt and telescopic D-cut multi-function steering wheel, adjustable headrests for all seats, and three-point seat belts with front pretensioners. Practicality is enhanced with generous storage solutions, including under-armrest storage, utility space under the central console, chrome-lined cup holders, and bezel-less day/night IRVM, ensuring both comfort and convenience for passengers.
The all-new VF MPV 7 offers a flexible and practical seven-seat configuration designed to meet modern urban mobility needs. The MPV features three-row theatre-style seating with a spacious third row that comfortably accommodates average adults. Comfort is further enhanced with balanced seat cushioning, a 6-way adjustable driver seat, and flexible second-row seats with slide, recline, and 60:40 split functionality with ISOFIX mounts. The third-row seats also offer recline and 50:50 split flexibility, while boot capacity stands at 126 litres with all seats up, expandable to 1,240 litres for additional cargo space.
The cabin is equipped with modern infotainment and connectivity features, including a 10.1-inch free-standing touchscreen, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, connected car technology, and speakers across all doors. Multiple charging options such as Type-A, Type-C USB ports and a 12V outlet in the first row and boot enhance convenience for passengers across all three rows.
Comfort and convenience features include electronic parking brake with auto hold, passive keyless entry, auto-fold ORVMs, automatic climate control with PM 2.5 filter, and dedicated third-row AC vents. Additional highlights such as ViVi virtual assistant, camp mode, all auto up/down windows with anti-pinch, and brake pedal integrated starter further enhance everyday usability and passenger comfort.
Performance is powered by a 60.13 kWh battery pack delivering 150 kW peak power and 280 Nm torque, enabling 0–100 km/h acceleration in under 9 seconds and a top speed of 140 km/h. The MPV offers a 517 km ARAI-certified range, with 10% to 70% fast charging in 30 minutes and DC charging support up to 80 kW. Multiple drive modes, regenerative braking settings, and creep mode ensure a smooth and adaptable driving experience.
Safety features include four airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control, traction control, hill start assist, roll-over mitigation, emergency signal system, all-disc brakes, and integrated dynamic braking, ensuring comprehensive protection for occupants.
The VF MPV 7 will be available in multiple exterior colours, including Jet Black, Infinity Blanc, Moonlit Ocean, Zenith Grey, Solar Ruby, and Introspective Brown, paired with sporty black or dual-tone interior options.
The VF MPV 7 joins the VF 6 and VF 7 in VinFast Auto India’s expanding lineup and will be locally assembled at the company’s facility in Thoothukudi under its “Made in India, for India” strategy.
VinFast is also expanding its nationwide footprint, targeting 75 showrooms and more than 230 service workshops by 2026. The company is further supporting EV adoption through initiatives such as free EV charging through 2029, the Trade Gas for Electric programme, flexible financing options, and a value-assured buyback of up to 75%, aimed at accelerating India’s transition to electric mobility.
