Bolt.Earth, India’s largest EV charging network, has entered into a strategic partnership with MapmyIndia (MMI) to enhance the accessibility and discoverability of electric vehicle charging infrastructure across the country.
As part of the collaboration, users of the MapmyIndia app can now seamlessly locate Bolt.Earth’s extensive network of four-wheeler charging stations, including both standard Level 2 chargers and DC fast chargers. The integration enables EV drivers to discover and navigate to charging points directly through MapmyIndia’s mapping and navigation platform.
The partnership is expected to significantly improve charger visibility for Bolt.Earth’s network partners while providing EV owners with a broader range of charging options beyond the Bolt.Earth ecosystem. By leveraging MapmyIndia’s widely used navigation services, the collaboration aims to simplify route planning, reduce range anxiety, and support the growing adoption of electric mobility in India.
Through the Open Charge Point Interface (OCPI) protocol, Bolt.Earth has integrated approximately 350 Level 2 and Level 3 chargers into the MapmyIndia app. The two companies said they are working together, through OCPI integration and API sharing, to help MapmyIndia platform users locate and access EV charging points.
The companies said the expanded discoverability is intended to support India’s EV ecosystem and provide drivers with a more seamless charging experience.
Bolt.Earth is India’s largest electric vehicle (EV) charging network, with more than 100,000 chargers deployed across over 2,000 cities.
