Kia Seltos leads Mid-SUV segment with 79% Value Retention

Kia Seltos Petrol Automatic has achieved the highest resale value in the Mid-SUV segment, retaining 79% of its value according to the latest Autocar India Used Car Study conducted with Spinny.

Kia India has announced that the Kia Seltos has secured the top position in the Mid-SUV segment for resale value, according to the latest Autocar India Used Car Study (4th Edition) conducted in partnership with Spinny.

The study found that the Kia Seltos Petrol Automatic retains 79% of its original value, making it the highest value-retaining model in its segment. The achievement highlights the Seltos’ strong ownership proposition, sustained demand in the used car market, and its ability to deliver long-term value to customers.

The strong resale performance further reinforces the Kia Seltos’ position as one of India’s most sought-after SUVs, reflecting customer confidence in the model’s quality, reliability, features, and overall ownership experience.

The study further highlighted the Seltos Petrol-Automatic’s consistent residual value performance over a five-year ownership period — retaining 79% of its value after one year, 67% after three years, and 57% after five years of ownership. Across the Seltos range, the model retains an average of 66% of its value after three years and 55% after five years of ownership, highest in its segment, based on the study data.
