Force Motors signs MoU with MoRTH to support CV replacement scheme in Delhi-NCR

The initiative encourages the replacement of older BS-IV and earlier commercial vehicles with cleaner BS-VI-compliant and electric vehicles, helping reduce emissions while modernising the region's commercial vehicle fleet.

Force Motors Limited, India’s largest van manufacturer and a leading automotive company, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Ministry of Road Transport & Highways (MoRTH), Government of India, to support the implementation of the Commercial Vehicle Replacement Scheme in the Delhi-NCR region.

The partnership aims to facilitate the replacement of older commercial vehicles with newer, cleaner, and more efficient models, contributing to the government’s efforts to reduce vehicular emissions and promote sustainable mobility across Delhi-NCR.

The scheme aims to accelerate the replacement of older BS-IV and earlier generation trucks and buses operating in the Delhi-NCR region with cleaner BS-VI compliant or electric vehicles, supporting the Government’s efforts to reduce vehicular emissions across the National Capital Region.

As a participating OEM, Force Motors will support the implementation of the scheme through its authorised dealership network in Delhi-NCR and extend the prescribed OEM benefits to eligible customers in accordance with the scheme guidelines.

Commenting on the development, Mr. Prasan Firodia, Managing Director, Force Motors Limited, said, “Force Motors is pleased to partner with the Government of India in this important initiative to modernise the commercial vehicle fleet in the Delhi-NCR region. The scheme aligns with our commitment to delivering cleaner, more efficient mobility solutions.
