Tata Motors’ electric buses clock 25 crore kilometres; equivalent to circling the Earth 6,200 times!

With an average daily distance of 200 km, the e-buses have significantly reduced air pollution and promoted greener mass mobility in each city. In total, Tata Motors' electric bus fleet has saved approximately 1.4 lakh tonnes of CO2 emissions while covering 25 crore kilometers.

Tata Motors, India’s largest commercial vehicle manufacturer, announced that its fleet of 3,100 electric buses, operating across 10 cities, has collectively covered over 25 crore kilometers—equivalent to circling the Earth 6,200 times.

Averaging 200 km per day, these e-buses have significantly contributed to reducing air pollution and promoting greener mass mobility. In total, Tata Motors’ electric buses have helped save around 1.4 lakh tonnes of CO2 emissions.
