VIDA, powered by Hero, has earned multiple honors at the Red Dot Design Concept Awards 2026, with its NOVUS series — NEX 1, NEX 2 and NEX 3 — and VIDA DIRT.E MX7 recognized for their design and engineering.
The awards add to VIDA’s growing list of international design accolades and highlight the brand’s focus on combining innovative engineering with futuristic, purpose-driven design.
The recognition follows the success of the VIDA DIRT.E K3, which received the same honor at the Red Dot Design Concept Awards last year. With the latest wins, VIDA continues to strengthen its global design credentials while developing future-ready electric mobility solutions focused on distinctive design, functionality and innovation.
The Red Dot Design Award for the VIDA NOVUS concepts validate a human-first design philosophy that prioritizes real-world movement over traditional vehicle categories. Designed as a spectrum of solutions rather than styling concepts, this award-winning series addresses distinct everyday challenges: the NEX 1 solves fragmented, in-between journey stretches with a portable, human-scale device that doubles as a backpack; the NEX 2 bridges two-wheeler agility with enhanced safety and multi-use utility; and the NEX 3 delivers personal, all-weather protection and dignity without the footprint of a traditional car.
