Electric vehicle maker Omega Seiki Mobility said it has strengthened its leadership team by bringing on board Nida Khanam as its Chief Human Resource Officer and Vivek Dhawan as the Director for sales and marketing, as the company gears up for the next phase of growth.
Ms. Nida Khanam, OSM’s new CHRO, is joining the company at a time when OSM family is expanding to new heights not just in terms of volumes & numbers but also adding best people from across industries. Ms Khanam will focus on strengthening the organizational culture and HR practices in the company with the objective of building Omega Seiki Mobility as an employer of choice.
Taking over the helm of the Human Resources function, Ms. Nida Khanam, said, “The vibrant and passionate people at OSM have been at the heart of the company’s success and I plan to build on that with people centric practices and value based transformation. Step one will be aligning and building the human resources function & team to support the overall business goals and Vision of OSM. I shall be working closely with the Chairman to bring a transformational change in the people’s processes & practices, building people’s capabilities, engaging & retaining talent.”

In the role of Director-Sales, Marketing & Services, Mr. Vivek Dhawan is spearheading OSM’s growing sales and service network. Under him, the company aims to expand to 400 touchpoints by March 2023 & create OSM as Super-Brand Mr Dhawan comes with nearly three decades of experience and has previously contributed to the success of several leading firms, including the likes of CG Power, Siemens, Rockwell Automation, Panasonic India, and Exicom.
On his appointment, Mr. Vivek Dhawan, said, “I am delighted to be a part of Omega Seiki Mobility, a brand which I have been watching closely grow to a national powerhouse in the field of commercial Electric Vehicles. I aim to build a strong foundation in the field of service, something which can make or break a brand while unleashing new and exciting strategies in sales and marketing domains. Ms. Nida Khanam, carries with her over 18 years of HR leadership & transformation experience She is known to introduce radical HR practices and framework which transforms culture & brands. Her extensive experience in aligning people initiatives to business strategy and driving large-scale complex change, she is just not an advocate but strongly drives diversity & inclusion. She has been part of some great organizations & diversified culture in her previous experience (Rockwell Automation, Grohe-Lixil, JSL to name a few). She is also an ACC-International Coaching federation, USA and has worked with Leaders as Executive Coach & Mentor. She is very passionate about coaching. She is an IIM-C & AMU Alumnus.
Mr. Dhawan is an alumnus of Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore and Punjab Engineering College. He is a firm believer in civil rights and action, economic empowerment of the masses, and climate action.
Omega Seiki Mobility is striving to become a global brand, with its roots in India. Currently, Omega Seiki Mobility employees 350 employees out of which 20 employees are part of the leadership Team. The company is looking to employee 2000 employees by Fiscal Year 2023-2024.
