This rally, aimed at raising awareness about electric vehicles (EVs) and their pivotal role in curbing pollution, witnessed an impressive turnout of enthusiastic participants, reinforcing the collective commitment to a greener future.

Vegh Automobiles organised city’s first ever “EV Parivartan” Rally on Friday, August 25th. This rally, aimed at raising awareness about electric vehicles (EVs) and their pivotal role in curbing pollution, witnessed an impressive turnout of enthusiastic participants, reinforcing the collective commitment to a greener future. The rally commenced from Gill Patti and culminated at the Green City Cricket Ground, symbolizing the journey towards a more sustainable future.

Sumeet Gupta, a distinguished industrialist renowned for his contributions to the region, flagged off the rally and spearheaded it both as a passionate advocate for sustainable living and as the Managing Director of Vegh Automobiles.

Over 200 families, proudly riding Vegh EV scooters adorned with flags and placards, participated in the rally. Their enthusiastic display of support not only underscored the local community’s dedication to the cause but also showcased the viability of EVs as a family-friendly mode of transportation.

The event also garnered significant support from various quarters, including EV Enthusiasts, social organizations, Resident Welfare Associations (RWAs), housing societies, environmentalists, fitness enthusiasts, public at large and several eminent personalities of Bathinda. As the rally kicked off, these diverse groups joined hands with the Vegh team to reaffirm their commitment to mitigating pollution and embracing sustainable transportation alternatives.

Reflecting on the occasion, Sumeet Gupta stated, “The “EV Parivartan” Rally is a milestone moment for Bathinda. It’s a collective step towards cleaner air, quieter streets, and a healthier future. The overwhelming response from participants shows that the vision of widespread EV adoption is not only attainable but also deeply desired.”

Notably, the rally wasn’t just about vehicular participation; it extended its impact to the environment. The non-governmental organization (NGO) “Tree Lovers Society” collaborated with Vegh Automobiles to plant more than 1000 trees, contributing to climate conservation and amplifying the message of a greener Bathinda.

In line with this environmental commitment, Pragya Goyal CEO, Vegh Automobiles, announced a significant initiative and pledged that for every vehicle sold, a tree will be planted by the company, ensuring that every ride contributes to the growth of a sustainable ecosystem.

The campaign “EV Parivartan” encapsulates the vision of Vegh Automobiles of bringing an electric vehicle to every household. With a steadfast focus on raising awareness about electric vehicles (EVs), the event’s objective was to underline the numerous benefits of EV adoption, from affordability and safety to environmental sustainability. At the forefront of this movement is the aspiration to transform Bathinda into a pollution-free city, setting an example for the region and the nation.
