
TAFE – Tractors and Farm Equipment Limited, a leading global tractor manufacturer, has appointed Dr. Lakshmi Venu as its Vice Chairman. As a Director at TAFE, Dr. Lakshmi has been instrumental in driving growth and innovation in the farm mechanization and auto component sectors.
Renowned for her strategic vision, customer-focused approach, and commitment to quality, Dr. Lakshmi has played a pivotal role in the success of TAFE’s Massey Ferguson and Eicher Tractors business. Her leadership reflects a deep dedication to people, innovation, and operational excellence. Recognizing her contributions, TAFE has elevated Dr. Lakshmi Venu to the position of Vice Chairman on its Board.

She is also the recipient of the Economic Times “Young Leaders – 40 under 40” recognition. Dr. Lakshmi is also the Managing Director at Sundaram-Clayton Ltd., a leading automotive component manufacturer. She is a graduate from Yale University and a Doctorate in Engineering Management from the University of Warwick, UK.
