Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India closes FY 2024-25 with over 58.31 lakh unit sales, records 19% YoY growth

Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) recorded 58,31,104 unit sales in FY 2024-25, achieving a 19% YoY growth. This includes 53,26,092 domestic sales and 5,05,012 exports, reinforcing its strong market presence. In March 2025, HMSI sold 4,27,448 units, with 4,01,411 domestic sales and 26,037 exports.

Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) has wrapped up the financial year 2024-25 on a strong note, reporting total sales of 58,31,104 units, reflecting a 19% year-on-year (YoY) growth.

In March 2025 alone, HMSI sold 4,27,448 units, comprising 4,01,411 units in the domestic market and 26,037 units exported.

For the entire fiscal year, domestic sales reached 53,26,092 units, while 5,05,012 units were exported, further strengthening the company’s position in the two-wheeler segment.

  • Entry into Electric Mobility: Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) marked its foray into the electric vehicle segment with the launch of the ACTIVA e: and QC1. Bookings commenced on January 1, 2025, with deliveries starting in March 2025.
  • Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025: HMSI made a strong presence at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, unveiling a lineup of cutting-edge and sustainable mobility solutions. Premium Motorcycle Business – BigWing

Honda expanded its BigWing portfolio with the launch of the NX200 (OBD2B-compliant) and new editions of the CB650R & CBR650R. Additionally, the company introduced India’s first 300cc flex-fuel motorcycle, the CB300F Flex-Fuel, marking a significant step toward greener mobility.

  • Shine & SP125 crossed 30 lakh customers in Eastern India and 10 lakh customers in Madhya Pradesh.

Road Safety Initiatives

HMSI conducted road safety awareness programs across 120+ cities, educating over 97 lakh Indian citizens, including students and professionals. It also hosted ten Road Safety Conventions for school principals and teachers as part of its Mindset Development for Future Generations initiative.
