Thomas Klein will assume the position of Head of Mercedes-Benz Vans on March 1, 2025. He will succeed Mathias Geisen, who is set to join the Board of Management on February 1, 2025, and take over the role of Board Member for Sales starting March 1, 2025.

Thomas Klein (46) joined the former DaimlerChrysler AG in 1999, beginning his career at Mercedes-Benz Vans in the Düsseldorf plant before moving to the company’s headquarters as a marketing specialist. After holding various positions within the Mercedes-Benz Sales and Retail Organization in Germany and South Africa, he took on the role of leading Cross Function Sales for the Overseas Region, overseeing strategic and operational sales activities across nearly 180 markets.
In 2019, as President and CEO of Sales & Marketing in Dubai, he managed the General Distributor office for Mercedes-Benz Cars in the Middle East. In 2021, he assumed responsibility for Mercedes-Benz Korea, where he played a key role in driving the implementation of the Mercedes-Benz strategy. Since July 2023, Thomas Klein has served as Vice President of Sales Planning & Product Management for Mercedes-Benz Cars and Integrated Production Programs in Stuttgart. In this role, he oversees global sales planning, control, and pricing for Mercedes-Benz vehicles, including strategic and operational volume planning.
