SKF Engineering & Lubrication India Pvt Ltd has appointed Divya Purohit as the India Head of Lubrication Lifetime Solutions, a strategic move aimed at strengthening the company’s presence in India’s growing industrial sector.
In this role, Purohit will lead SKF’s lubrication solutions business across India, focusing on innovation, lean manufacturing, operational excellence, and delivering customer-centric value.
With over 20 years of international leadership experience across South Asia, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, Purohit has held senior roles at prominent industrial firms. His expertise spans business scaling, sustainability initiatives, and incorporating circular economy principles into industrial operations.
Before joining SKF, Purohit served as Head of the Grains and Food Business for South Asia at Bühler Group and as Business Line Manager for India & Nepal at Atlas Copco, where he successfully drove business expansion and capability development.
Commenting on his new role, Purohit said, “India’s economy is advancing rapidly, and SKF’s strong brand presence, supported by our world-class green manufacturing facility in Bangalore, positions us well to fuel this industrial growth.”

Under Divya Purohit’s leadership, the company will emphasize innovation, operational excellence through digitalization and AI, and customer-centric service expansion. Sustainability and circular economy principles remain key priorities.
