
Propel Industries Private Limited strengthened its position in India’s heavy-duty electric mobility segment with the launch of four new electric tipper models and two digital service platforms at EXCON 2025. The unveiling took place in the presence of Dr. Soumya Ranjan Samal, Founder & CMD, Kalinga Commercial Corporation Limited, and Mr. J Rudrasekar, Director, Rajiraj Minerals Private Limited.
The new lineup includes the 90CED, 70CED, 560HEV-X, and 470MEV Gen-2—each designed to address the demands of mining, construction, and multi-shift operational environments. Propel also introduced Pulse.ev, a connected intelligence platform, and Pro EV Care, a comprehensive after-sales program for EV fleets.
Speaking at the launch, V. Senthilkumar, Managing Director, Propel Industries, said, “Every new platform we introduced today responds to real needs of heavy-duty mining and construction environments. Our focus remains on productivity, long-term operating economics, reliability, and safety. With these additions, we are strengthening India’s electric heavy-duty ecosystem with technologies customers can trust in demanding conditions.”
Product Highlights
- 90CED: A 90-tonne ultra-fast charging electric dumper with a 34 cu.m struck volume and battery options from 310–650 kWh. It includes ADAS Level 1, an electronic braking system, driver fatigue monitoring, and DGMS-compliant safety.
- 70CED: An 8×4 mining tipper with a 25 cu.m rock body for intensive mining operations.
- 560HEV-X: An 8×4 construction tipper with a 25 cu.m box body capacity.
- 470MEV Gen-2: A 6×4 tipper with a 20 cu.m rock body and three battery configuration options.
All vehicles feature lithium-ion battery packs with an in-built firewall, automatic fire detection and suppression systems, and a battery warranty of 5,000 cycles or five years.

Since entering the EV truck market in 2023, Propel has expanded across coal, overburden, limestone, iron ore, quarrying, marble, granite, and waste management sectors. Its electric trucks have collectively logged over 5 lakh operating hours, with the first batch of eight units recording 12,500 hours in two years, demonstrating strong reliability and uptime.

Pulse.ev, the company’s new connectivity suite, enables real-time diagnostics, energy consumption analytics, predictive maintenance, and fleet optimization for multi-shift operations.
Pro EV Care offers a five-tier support structure with uptime assurance, predictable operating costs, and on-site service availability aimed at enhancing lifecycle performance.
