Lexus has announced the introduction of the Special Edition RZ 600e “F SPORT Performance”, further strengthening its battery-electric RZ lineup and reinforcing its commitment to high-performance electrification. The new model will go on sale through Lexus dealerships nationwide from March 2, 2026.
Developed as Lexus’s first BEV-dedicated model, the RZ represents the foundation of the brand’s transformation into a fully electrified luxury marque. It blends Lexus’s hallmark driving refinement and emotionally engaging design with advanced electric vehicle technologies. Since the debut of the AWD RZ 450e in March 2023, followed by the FWD RZ 300e with an extended cruising range, Lexus has steadily expanded the RZ portfolio to meet diverse customer preferences.
In January 2024, Lexus introduced the RZ 450e “F SPORT Performance”, a limited-production variant developed in collaboration with air race pilot Yoshihide Muroya and racing driver Masahiro Sasaki. Building on this performance-focused philosophy, the newly unveiled RZ 600e “F SPORT Performance” Special Edition takes dynamic capability to the next level.
Based on the RZ 550e “F SPORT”, which features a comprehensively updated BEV system, the RZ 600e further enhances the core attributes of F SPORT Performance. Exclusive aerodynamic components generate increased downforce, while higher motor output delivers exceptional handling stability and a more progressive, emotionally engaging driving experience.
The vehicle’s overall height has been lowered by 20 mm, reducing aerodynamic drag and improving high-speed stability across a wide range of driving conditions. By revising battery output limits, Lexus has achieved a system maximum output of 313 kW, enabling smooth yet exhilarating acceleration. To complement the performance gains, 20-inch large-diameter brake rotors have been adopted, delivering confident braking performance and precise pedal feel optimised for sporty driving.
A next-generation steer-by-wire steering wheel debuts on the RZ 600e, paired with Interactive Manual Drive, enhancing driver engagement and responsiveness. Together, these technologies provide a heightened sense of control, whether navigating urban roads or tackling winding routes.
Visually, the RZ 600e “F SPORT Performance” is offered in two distinctive exterior color schemes: Black with HAKUGIN II matte clear finish, and Black with Neutrino Gray, reinforcing its athletic stance and aerodynamic character. Blue accent details contrast with the dark bodywork, symbolising Lexus’s electrified performance identity.
Inside, the cabin features specially designed front sports seats crafted using an integrated foam moulding process. These seats provide strong lateral support during spirited driving while maintaining everyday comfort, creating a refined interior where performance and luxury coexist.
