Steelbird launches SB-120 Full-Face Helmet at ₹3,999 with ECE R22.06 Certification

The helmet comes with ECE R22.06, ISI, and DOT certifications, along with features like Pinlock visor, sun visor, and enhanced aerodynamics—targeting safety-conscious riders.

Steelbird Helmets has launched its latest full-face helmet, the SB-120, priced at ₹3,999, targeting mid-range buyers with a focus on safety, comfort, and design.

The SB-120 meets multiple global and domestic safety standards, including ECE R22.06, ISI (IS 4151:2015), and DOT (FMVSS 218), making it compliant with stringent certification norms. It features a polymer shell reinforced with fibreglass, aimed at enhancing impact resistance, along with aerodynamic elements such as a rear spoiler to improve stability and reduce drag at higher speeds.

For improved visibility, the helmet is equipped with a Pinlock 30 anti-fog system and an integrated sun visor to reduce glare. The interior design includes ventilation channels and removable padding for added comfort, while reflective elements enhance rider visibility in low-light conditions.

Safety during emergencies is supported by a quick-release cheek pad mechanism, allowing easier removal of the helmet in case of an accident. The SB-120 is offered with both Double D-Ring and Micrometric Buckle retention systems and weighs approximately 1.5 kg.

Available in four sizes—540 mm, 560 mm, 580 mm, and 590 mm—the helmet comes in multiple finish options, including glossy, matte, decals, and carbon fibre-style designs. Pricing starts at ₹3,999 for mono-colour variants and goes up to ₹4,499 for graphic versions.

Commenting on the launch, Rajeev Kapur said the SB-120 aims to combine premium styling, including carbon-pattern finishes, with globally certified safety while remaining accessible to Indian riders.
