
Nissan Motor India Pvt. Ltd. (NMIPL) continued its positive growth trajectory in the Indian market, reporting a robust 118% year-on-year increase in domestic wholesales in May 2026. The company recorded domestic sales of 2,948 units during the month, marking its third consecutive month of year-on-year growth.
In addition to its domestic performance, Nissan exported 5,023 units in May 2026, taking its total wholesales for the month to 7,971 units.
The strong domestic sales momentum reflects Nissan’s growing market presence and the increasing acceptance of its product portfolio among Indian customers. The sustained growth trend underscores the company’s focus on strengthening its position in one of the world’s most competitive automotive markets.
