Mercedes-Benz India has announced a series of leadership appointments across its Sales and Marketing division as part of a broader strategy to enhance AI-powered customer experiences, data-driven decision-making, and the integration of retail finance into its customer journey. The organisational changes will take effect from September 1, 2026.

Under the new structure, Nandita Godbole, currently General Manager of the Digital Customer Unit, has been appointed Head of Marketing, succeeding Amrit Baid. Amrit Baid will assume responsibility for the company’s Retail Finance and Pre-Owned Cars business. During his tenure in marketing, he led several major brand campaigns, including Dreams Day, Wish Box, and G-Tribe. Mercedes-Benz India noted that its retail finance business now supports more than 50% of total vehicle sales through financing programmes such as Star Agility and has built a portfolio exceeding ₹15,000 crore.

The company has also announced the global transition of Jamsheed Bhadha, currently General Manager – Product Planning and Sales Planning, who will take on a new role with Mercedes-Benz in Dubai. He will be succeeded by Sanjay Kochar, currently serving as General Manager – TEV & BEV Sales.

Commenting on the leadership changes, Brendon Sissing, Vice President – Sales & Marketing, Mercedes-Benz India, said the new appointments reinforce the company’s commitment to delivering superior customer experiences through real-time data strategies, AI deployment, and integrated business capabilities, while also creating broader cross-functional growth opportunities for its leadership talent.
