Force Traveller ambulance fleet deployed in Pune

Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Mr Ajit Pawar and Health Minister Mr Rajesh Tope on May 28 deployed a fleet of Traveller ambulances in Pune to improve the district’s response in the fight against COVID-19 pandemic.

Under the initiative, Force Motors has delivered over 500 Traveller and Trax ambulances in the past month and a half. These ambulances will be stationed at primary health centres across the state.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Prasan Firodia- Managing Director, Force Motors Ltd, said, “We appreciate the initiative taken by the state Government to strengthen the healthcare system during the pandemic. We are happy that the Government of Maharashtra reposed their trust in the proven and reliable Force Traveller and Trax Ambulances”.

According to a press release, the Force range of ambulances owes its outstanding performance to the Mercedes-derived powertrains that deliver best-in-class power and torque. Their all-terrain capability is derived from the best-in-class ground clearance and sturdy design of the axles and suspension, added the release.
