BYD India has expanded its retail and service network in Maharashtra with the inauguration of a new showroom and service centre in Baner, Pune. The facility marks the company’s 49th showroom in India, strengthening its presence in one of the country’s key electric vehicle markets.
The new outlet will bring BYD India’s premium electric vehicle portfolio closer to customers in Pune, while the accompanying service centre will support the company’s after-sales network in the region.
The expansion reflects BYD India’s continued efforts to strengthen its retail footprint and improve customer access to its new energy vehicle (NEV) range.
The showroom was inaugurated by Mr. Rajeev Chauhan, Head of Electric Passenger Vehicle Business, BYD India, Mr. Shrirang Joshi, National Sales Head, Passenger Vehicle Business, BYD India, and Mr. Sanjay Thakker, Chairman and Founder, Group Landmark, in the presence of senior officials from BYD India and Landmark BYD. The new outlet marks BYD’s second dealership in Pune, strengthening its presence in the city as EV registrations grew by nearly 40% in H1 2026.
Spanning 4,000 sq. ft., the state-of-the-art showroom is designed to offer customers a contemporary BYD experience, with space for up to six vehicles and dedicated display areas for the brand’s premium NEV range. Landmark’s entry in Pune also includes a new state-of-the-art service centre in Tathawade, equipped with dedicated service bays, trained technicians, advanced service equipment, EV charging stations and a customer lounge to support the after-sales experience.
The showroom will also showcase the newly launched BYD SEALION 7 Dynamic, alongside BYD’s existing portfolio in India. Since its introduction in 2025, the BYD SEALION 7 has received a strong customer response, with over 4,500 units currently in operation across India, reinforcing its position in the premium EV segment. Priced at an introductory INR 41.90 lakh (ex-showroom), the SEALION 7 Dynamic features a 71.8 kWh Blade Battery, offering a claimed range of up to 520 km (NEDC) and 0–100 km/h acceleration in 7.3 seconds. Built on BYD’s e-Platform 3.0, it also features Cell-to-Body technology, Intelligence Torque Adaptation Control and a rotating touchscreen infotainment system.

With the addition of the Landmark BYD Pune outlet, BYD India’s network now spans 49 showrooms across 40 cities. Its India portfolio includes the BYD SEALION 7, BYD SEAL, BYD ATTO 3 and BYD eMAX 7, along with the recently introduced DM-i Super Hybrid technology.
