SANY India inaugurates new facility to boost manufacturing capacity and localization

SANY India has inaugurated a state-of-the-art production facility at its sprawling 90-acre manufacturing hub in Pune. The new factory is designed to enhance production capacity and support increased localized manufacturing to meet growing domestic and international demand.

With an impressive annual production capacity exceeding 14,000 units and a robust fabrication capability of over 100,000 metric tonnes per year, the facility is poised to strengthen SANY India’s presence across the construction, mining, and energy sectors.

Xiang Wenbo, Chairman of SANY Group, inaugurated the facility, emphasizing the adoption of advanced manufacturing technologies. “By incorporating the latest innovations, we are positioning ourselves to meet the challenges of today and the demands of tomorrow,” he stated.

Deepak Garg, Vice Chairman and Managing Director of SANY India, highlighted the company’s alignment with the Prime Minister’s ‘Make in India’ initiative. “This facility reinforces our commitment by driving increased localization and expanding exports to key global markets,” Garg noted.

SANY India is targeting revenues exceeding ₹30,000 crore by 2030, marking a more than threefold growth. The company offers a diverse product portfolio, including excavators, cranes, concrete mixers, batching plants, pumps, graders, pavers, compactors, stackers, mining equipment, and wind turbines.

With a robust distribution network comprising 42 dealers and 260 touchpoints across India, SANY India is set to strengthen its foothold in the market. Sanjay Saxena, Chief Operating Officer for Sales, Marketing, and Customer Support, emphasized the company’s balanced focus on all key verticals, including earthmoving, lifting, foundation, mining, ports, concrete, and road construction, to sustain growth.
