The selected startups — Goat Robotics, SheerDrive, Schijnenn Digital, GenbaNEXT, Swayatt Drishtigochar, and Swiftex — will collaborate with Maruti Suzuki through paid Proof of Concepts (PoCs).

Maruti Suzuki India Limited has selected six startups under the 10th cohort of its flagship Accelerator Program to co-develop next-generation technology and AI-driven business solutions.

The selected startups — Goat Robotics, SheerDrive, Schijnenn Digital, GenbaNEXT, Swayatt Drishtigochar, and Swiftex — have been awarded paid Proof of Concepts (PoCs) to collaborate with Maruti Suzuki on innovative, technology-led solutions.

The proposed solutions are aimed at enhancing plant safety and operational efficiency, reducing product development timelines, improving material-level traceability, and delivering a better customer experience through advanced AI and digital technologies.

Mr. Hisashi Takeuchi, Managing Director & CEO, Maruti Suzuki India Limited said,  “As our operations continue to grow, the solutions that we are co-creating with these startups will enable us to further improve safety in our plants, help reduce product design and development lead time, strengthen material traceability to support our circularity efforts, and help our dealer sales executives engage with customers more efficiently.”

He added, “At Maruti Suzuki, we are committed to support Government of India’s ‘Startup India’ initiative through our innovation programs. These programs provide startups mentorship, access to our facilities, and opportunities to work with our teams in real business situations. This helps startups refine and scale their ideas while also helping us modernise our operations and become future-ready.”

The selected startups and their project focus areas include:

• Goat Robotics – developing solutions for safe and efficient movement of materials within operations
• SheerDrive – building a real-time, market-linked used car price visualization platform
• Schijnenn Digital – working on reducing product design and development cycles
• GenbaNEXT – enabling material traceability to support circularity initiatives
• Swayatt Drishtigochar – focusing on predictive maintenance and safe operation of industrial equipment
• Swiftex – creating a sales assistance platform to help dealer executives improve customer engagement

The startups have been awarded paid Proof of Concepts (PoCs) to collaborate closely with Maruti Suzuki in developing scalable and practical solutions for real-world automotive and mobility challenges.

Over the last seven years, Maruti Suzuki has built a strong open innovation ecosystem through multiple startup-focused initiatives. The company has screened more than 6,800 startups, engaged with over 250 startups, and onboarded 34 startups as business partners delivering measurable value.

Among its key innovation initiatives, the Maruti Suzuki Accelerator, launched in 2019, promotes collaboration with growth-stage startups to develop advanced mobility and manufacturing solutions. The NSRCEL-supported Incubation Program, introduced in 2020, focuses on nurturing early-stage mobility startups through mentorship and access to academic and entrepreneurial resources.

The company also launched the Mobility Challenge in 2021 to identify mature-stage startups with cutting-edge mobility technologies, while the Nurture program, introduced in 2023, supports idea-stage startups through pre-incubation initiatives.
