Tata AutoComp Systems Ltd., a leading Indian automotive components manufacturer, has announced the acquisition of International Automotive Components Group Sweden AB (IAC Sweden), a well-established supplier of interior systems and components to the automotive industry with an approximate turnover of $800 million.
This strategic acquisition enhances Tata AutoComp’s footprint in Sweden and strengthens its partnerships with key European OEMs across both passenger and commercial vehicle segments. It further consolidates Tata AutoComp’s position as one of India’s largest automotive component manufacturers while expanding its presence in Europe’s automotive sector.
The acquisition offers strong synergy opportunities, enabling Tata AutoComp to leverage advanced manufacturing capabilities, cutting-edge technology, and established relationships in the premium automotive market. The transaction is subject to European regulatory approvals.
