Eaton has named Sergio Letelier as Senior Vice President of Corporate Development, Planning, and Strategy, effective March 17, 2025. In this role, Letelier will oversee the company’s corporate strategy and global mergers and acquisitions efforts. He will report to Olivier Leonetti, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, and will also join Eaton’s executive leadership team.
The company noted that Letelier joins Eaton from Hewlett Packard Enterprise, where he served as senior vice president and head of corporate development. In this role, he led the company’s corporate development and mergers and acquisitions strategy. Over his more than 20-year tenure at Hewlett Packard, he held several leadership positions of increasing responsibility, including vice president of corporate securities and M&A, vice president of transformation execution and governance, and vice president of corporate, M&A and ventures.
“Sergio’s extensive global experience, successful track record in transactions, and expertise—particularly in the data center sector—make him the ideal leader for our strategy and portfolio management,” said Olivier Leonetti. “I look forward to working with him to elevate Eaton’s portfolio management and drive further profitable growth.”
Letelier holds multiple advanced degrees, including master’s degrees in finance, tax, and strategy from HEC Paris, a master’s in tax and business law from the University of Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne, and a master’s in French and German business law from the University of Cologne. He also earned an executive MBA from the Quantic School of Business and Technology.
