Polestar has announced the expansion of its European retail network with the launch of operations in the Baltic region, marking its entry into its 29th, 30th, and 31st global markets: Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania.
The expansion forms part of the company’s ongoing strategy to strengthen its sales and retail footprint across Europe. To support the rollout, Polestar is partnering with Volvax Baltic, leveraging the company’s established retail network and market expertise in the region.
As part of the expansion, Polestar will open its first dedicated Polestar Space in Tallinn, Estonia, in June 2026. Additional retail locations are scheduled to open in Riga, Latvia, and Vilnius, Lithuania, during the second half of the year.
The move will enable customers across the Baltic region to access Polestar’s range of premium electric performance vehicles through dedicated retail and customer experience centers. By utilizing an established local retail infrastructure, the company aims to accelerate market entry while delivering a consistent brand experience across its growing European network.
The Baltic expansion represents the latest milestone in Polestar’s international growth strategy as the electric vehicle manufacturer continues to increase its presence in key European markets and strengthen accessibility to its electric mobility offerings.
Scott Dicken, Polestar Chief Commercial Officer, says: “Expanding into the Baltic region is a natural next step for Polestar as we continue to grow in Europe, and is part of our journey to grow our sales network in 2026 to 250 locations globally. At the same time, we are transforming our retail network to meet customers where they are, with locations designed around test drives, making it easier for more customers to experience our cars. It’s a significant achievement for a young brand like Polestar to operate in more than 30 markets.”
Europe remains Polestar’s largest geographical market, representing 78% of total retail sales volumes in the first quarter of 2026.
The Baltic region has a growing and modern charging grid infrastructure. Polestar customers benefit from access to an established, integrated, and easy-to-use charging solution through Polestar Charge, which provides access to over 2,800 charging points ranging from high-speed superchargers to local charging options across Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania.
