Valeo to showcase Truck Technologies at IAA Transportation 2026

Valeo will showcase its latest technologies for heavy-duty trucks and light commercial vehicles at IAA Transportation 2026, with a focus on electrification, ADAS, autonomy, software and safety.

Valeo is set to showcase its latest technologies and solutions for heavy-duty trucks and light commercial vehicles at IAA Transportation 2026, scheduled to take place from September 14 to 20 in Hanover, Germany.

The global automotive and commercial vehicle technology supplier will participate in the event at the Hanover Messe, where it will display its latest hardware and software solutions aimed at addressing the evolving requirements of the commercial vehicle industry.

Valeo’s participation will focus on technologies designed to help fleet operators tackle key operational challenges while improving vehicle efficiency and optimising total cost of ownership (TCO).

The company is positioning its latest solutions around the growing need for advanced technologies that can support fleet productivity, efficiency and the changing demands of commercial transportation.

IAA Transportation 2026 will bring together global players from the logistics, commercial vehicle and transportation sectors, providing a platform for manufacturers and technology suppliers to present solutions for the future of mobility.

Detlef Juerss, Valeo Chief Sales and Business Development Officer said: “The IAA Transportation is a key platform for the global commercial vehicle industry – an important market and focus area for Valeo. Our commercial vehicle OE customers value our innovative products and solutions as they enhance safety, reduce cost, provide comfort and create a differentiating design for their customers. We are proud to have gained the trust of our OE customers with a significant increase of orders since the last IAA in all the segments we serve. Specifically for the electrified, autonomous and software-driven truck, we see a growing demand for our technologies – core businesses for Valeo. Particularly our ADAS sensor, sensor cleaning and compute technology are supporting all levels of autonomy – a game changer for the industry.

Valeo is driving the evolution toward zero-emission and autonomous fleet solutions

As the commercial vehicle industry undergoes a major transformation fueled by new safety and environmental regulations, as well as by the transition to autonomous trucking, Valeo is positioning itself as the key partner for commercial truck manufacturers navigating this complexity. With electric trucks projected to take a substantial global market share by 2030 and autonomous trucking expected to grow rapidly in the next decade, Valeo is ready to support this evolution.

Valeo continues to build on its strong presence in historical products, such as lighting, wipers, powertrain systems and thermal management, while drastically accelerating its leadership in high-growth technologies including electrification, advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) up to Level 4 autonomy, and software-defined vehicle technologies (SDV).

Safety, Valeo’s priority for all road users

Committed to global regulatory standards, Valeo enhances in-cabin safety while improving the driving environment and making vehicle behavior predictable for everyone, both on and off the road.

Valeo’s Adaptive Driving Beam (ADB) technology automatically shapes high-beam headlights around oncoming traffic, maximizing nighttime visibility for drivers without blinding other road users. Long established as a standard for passenger cars, Valeo is now introducing this crucial glare-free lighting solution to the commercial vehicle market.

Inside the cabin, Valeo provides a safe interior environment by pairing cutting-edge hardware with sophisticated software solutions. A key feature of this high-performance cockpit is the advanced Driver Monitoring System (DMS), which actively tracks driver drowsiness and distraction to ensure full compliance with stringent GSR II and NCAP 2026 standards.
