
Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Government of Uttarakhand to implement wide-ranging CSR programs across the state starting FY 2025–26. The collaboration focuses on education, health and hygiene, environmental sustainability, and community development, aiming to benefit over 370,000 people.
This partnership reflects a shared commitment to sustainable growth and social responsibility through multi-year projects addressing key developmental challenges. The MoU was signed at the CSR Conclave in Dehradun, attended by Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami, Chief Minister of Uttarakhand, Shri Sunil Ambekar, Akil Bharatiya Prachar Pramukh of the RSS, senior government officials, and TKM leadership including Mr. Vikram Gulati, Country Head and Executive Vice President, Corporate Affairs and Governance.
Welcoming these initiatives, Shri. Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Vikram Gulati, Country Head and Executive Vice President, Corporate Affairs and Governance, TKM said, “At Toyota, we believe in empowering communities through sustainable actions that create long term positive impact. TKM will focus on early childhood education by improving Anganwadi centers, enhance healthcare access through facility upgrades and hygiene promotion in schools, and promote clean energy by installing solar power systems for livelihood units and community centers. These efforts align with TKM’s vision of carbon neutrality and sustainable development.
Since 2001, TKM has actively contributed to education, environment, road safety, skill development, health, and disaster management, following its Child-to-Community approach to foster socio-economic growth and build stronger communities.
