BattRE Electric Mobility, one of India’s fastest-growing electric two-wheeler manufacturers, has announced the launch of its Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) initiative in Jaipur. This rollout comes through a strategic partnership with Battery Smart, India’s leading battery-swapping network for electric two- and three-wheelers.
Reinforcing its commitment to democratizing sustainable mobility, BattRE has enabled fleet operator Beez Electric with the deployment of over 1000 B2B & B2C BattRE e-scooters, powered entirely by Battery Smart’s Battery Swapping technology. This initiative provides Beez Electric’s riders seamless access to over 100 Battery Smart swap stations across Jaipur, eliminating long charging downtimes. With a simple and rapid battery swap, riders can replace a depleted battery with a fully charged one in under two minutes—boosting fleet uptime, operational efficiency, and rider convenience.
This initiative gives Beez Electric’s customers seamless access to over 100 Battery Smart swap stations across Jaipur, eliminating the need for long charging downtime. With a simple and rapid swap, riders can replace a depleted battery with a fully charged one in under two minutes, significantly improving uptime, fleet efficiency, and overall convenience. The partnership is designed to set new benchmarks in fleet electrification and strengthen Jaipur’s standing as a hub for electric mobility solutions.
“With Battery Smart’s extensive swapping infrastructure, our Beez customers can now swap batteries at over 100 stations across Jaipur, ensuring uninterrupted rides and maximizing vehicle utilization. This partnership reflects our commitment to making EV adoption easier, more economical, and scalable for both individual riders and fleet operators,” said Nishchal Chaudhary, CEO & Managing Director, BattRE Electric Mobility.
The collaboration brings multiple advantages to Jaipur’s urban mobility ecosystem. For fleet operators like Beez Electric, it translates into higher operational efficiency and stronger economics, as vehicles spend more time on the road instead of charging. For end users, the widespread swap-station network ensures reliability, freedom, and the elimination of range anxiety. The initiative also supports broader environmental objectives, reducing the city’s carbon footprint by cutting dependency on fossil-fuel-based transport.
Looking ahead, BattRE and Battery Smart aim to scale this deployment model further.Jaipur will serve as a pilot city, with both companies envisioning nationwide expansion of Battery Swapping technology solutions across fleets and cities throughout 2026.
