MG Motor India participates in Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2024

MG showcased five vehicles at the Expo, highlighting rider-friendly features like Autonomous systems and iSMART technology. Among them, four vehicles boast up to Autonomous Level 2 functionality and the smart iSMART-connected tech.

Morris Garages (MG), a British automobile brand with a 100-year-old legacy, took part in India’s first global mobility show, Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2024. During the event, they displayed a lineup featuring the Hector, Astor, ZS EV, Gloster, and Comet models.

‘Accelerating Sustainability Practices’, a key theme of the Expo, was underscored by MG Motor India’s Green Mobility commitment with its EV vehicle line-up at the expo. The Comet EV, is an example of a practical urban mobility solution with its eye-catching design and intelligent features.

The carmaker also demonstrated its commitment towards creating a robust EV infrastructure in India with the display of its 6-way charging system, innovative battery composition for both the Battery Module and Battery Cell reflected in the ZS EV’s Prismatic EV Unit, and the concept of 2nd Life battery solutions. Since its inception, MG has installed over 15,000 nationwide charging touchpoints (including home and public chargers) with its EV ecosystem partners.

In consonance with its vision of introducing NEV’s in the Indian market, MG also exhibited its 3rd generation Hydrogen fuel-cell tech at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2024. This newly developed fuel-cell system echoes an integral theme –‘Future Fuels’–of this event.

MG’s vehicles point to its pole position in the field of auto-tech, and this was demonstrated by its vehicles that come with rider-oriented features such as Autonomous systems and iSMART features. Out of the five MG vehicles being presented at the Expo, four are equipped with up to Autonomous Level 2 functionality and the iSMART connected technology.

MG Motor India also announced its sales numbers for the month of January 2024. The brand clocked total sales of 3825 units with EVs contributing a share of 24%.
