Toyota Kirloskar Motor achieves record-breaking sales in 2024, selling 3,26,329 units

In 2024, Toyota Kirloskar Motor's growth was driven by a strong customer-centric approach and a well-defined product strategy, alongside a commitment to national priorities and sustainability. December 2024 saw a notable 29% growth compared to the same month in 2023.

Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) reached a major milestone in 2024 by posting its highest-ever calendar year sales, totaling 3,26,329 units. This marks an impressive 40% growth compared to the 2,33,346 units sold in 2023. The achievement highlights TKM’s dedication to delivering high-quality vehicles that cater to diverse market needs, resulting in a stronger market presence.

Out of the total sales, 3,00,159 units were sold domestically, while 26,232 units were exported, reflecting the company’s commitment to ‘Make in India’ for both the domestic and international markets.

In December 2024, TKM sold 29,529 units, marking a 29% year-on-year increase from the 22,867 units sold in December 2023. The domestic market accounted for 24,887 units, with 4,642 units exported.

Key Drivers of Success for Toyota Kirloskar Motor in 2024:

  • SUV and MPV Segments: The Innova Hycross, Urban Cruiser Hyryder, and Hilux were key contributors to strong sales growth.
  • New Launches: The introduction of the Urban Cruiser Taisor, All-New Camry Hybrid, and new grades and limited editions of existing models attracted new customers.
  • Expanding Dealership Network: With over 1,110 touchpoints across India, TKM ensured greater accessibility and convenience for customers.
  • Innovative Services: The launch of Toyota Used Car Outlets (TUCO) and the “T CARE” initiative, offering comprehensive services from presales to aftersales, enhanced customer experience and supported growth.
